1 Second Everyday

I have installed in my phone the new 1SE app and it's making wonders in my life.

I just realized the value of a single second to your one day and it documents a speck of memory in your life.

I know it's difficult to be a daily blogger or vlogger, so I think this app would help some of the lazy ones who still wants to make a daily video/photo diary in a day, in a month or in a year.

You can download it from their sites and credits to:

This will be updated monthly:

I find inspiration in every many facets of my life considering it's ups and downs. This helps me motivate and do good to become a better me.

This quote really makes me wanting to see the world in a different perspective as well as making the most out of this journey in life.

Literally living mi Vida loca.

Dubsmash

Dubsmash is a video messaging application for iOS and Android
The app allows users to lip sync over audio clips including sections of songs, movies, and famous quotes. Users can upload their own audio, and can add colour filters and text animation to their recordings. Users have to save their clips to their devices and can then send them via other messaging applications. (wikipedia)

Me and friends were hooked to this app and we've made a few just for fun.

And a special space for my goddaughter Iya who is also fond of this app. She's only 1year and 8 months (as of date 11 Jan 2016). Watch her performances below:

NOTE TO SELF: EMPHATIZE BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE

I often see people using social media as their means of airing their concerns, their disappointments, their rants, and their unnecessary comments with what’s happening with our country right now together with our what if’s, our better ideas, our better solutions. Sometimes I see myself doing it too, although just in my head. But come to think of it, are we doing our part to be called a true citizen with real nationalistic love for our country. Is being able to be a volunteer to help and share financial support to the needy really enough? Have we even tried to emphatize being the President of our nation? Do we really have the “Bayanihan spirit” or we just enhance our “crab mentality” syndrome.

What if one day, something unusual is going to happen, there will be a chance for you to “SWAP PLACES” with the head of our beloved country? You be the leader because you think you have better things that you can share and help our people. Do you really think you can? Are you really capable enough to be the one who can do the job and that at the end of the day, people will praise you? Nothing is wrong of giving comments; it’s the freedom that we have that sometimes we do not use constructively. Would it be nice just to help instead of just ranting? Would it be better if we give each other strength, encouragement and share positivity as we go through each and every crises our nation is facing and will be facing. Once you are in this position and handling approximately 98,630,000 citizens, do you think you’re much capable in this task?

Being a leader doesn’t mean you can do all things possible . He’s not God, he’s not perfect and do you think you are? Our mas magaling comments won’t let us do wonders, it would just be pure words without actions.

Come to think of it, this does not apply solely with our country’s concerns; this is also quite visible in many facets of our life.

Like in our workplace, we think we are better with our colleagues, better for the job with higher pay. Can I really be a better boss? Can I be both effective and efficient to help the company grow? Maybe that is why there is now a global crisis because of this mentality.

In our family, if we swap places with our parents, do you think you’ll be better in providing and giving the utmost care? Maybe that’s why there are so many broken homes (metaphorically and literally) because we have a lot of complaints instead of just loving as a family.

In our Faith, if there is a chance for us to swap places with our pastoral leaders even with God’s divine intervention, sadly this is not exempted. Can I be a better pastor to the souls entrusted to me? Can I be a good example in journeying with the people of God? Can it be seen in my actions? Instead of following what’s God’s leading we often question the people used to do His works because of our little faith. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the CALLED and if we resist it, than how can we be better than any one else?

In our social peers, we judge them in their wrong decisions in life; we think we are better, kung ako yan, mas magaling ako. We are not even seeing that they have also troubles of their own, struggles that are different from us.  At the end we are loosing a friend.

We are far from perfect, but can we also do our part. Instead of spreading nasty comments and negativities addressed to others, can we criticize first our self? Where am I lacking? Is there someone who can help me or is there any way I can help? Talaga bang mas magaling ako? Or I could also be a disappointment?

Although I don’t practice it myself, it maybe difficult but I will try my best to live with this famous quote. “If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.”

This article is a reminder for me, it’s not actually made for you, but if you are affected then maybe it could also be a note to you. Mas magaling ka diba?
